PROTECT Conference in Brussels
Parcours d’Exil and the partners of the PROTECT project have the pleasure to invite you to the Final conference of the project “Early identification of asylum seekers having suffered traumatic experiences” at Hotel Astrid in Brussels on October 18th 2011.
The team of the PROTECT will present a tool and a process of early identification of asylum seekers having suffered traumatic experiences, which has been developed since July 2010. According to Council Directive 2003/9/EC of January 2003, the Member States have to take into account the specific situation of vulnerable persons in the process of reception of asylum seekers. Therefore, such identification is a key issue for all the organizations involved in the field of political asylum in Europe.
