The Heinrich Boll Stiftung released a Dossier on irregular migration in Europe, titled ‘Living in illegality’ (Leben in der Illegalität). The first section deals with the political handling of irregular migration in Europe and the USA; it analyses the mechanisms by which migrants are driven to an irregular situation. The second part discusses the lack of human rights protection for undocumented migrants in the fields of health, education and employment. The third section focuses on civil society mobilization for the rights of undocumented migrants.
