This is a reaction to Václav Klaus’s review of “Sustainable immigration and Cultural Integration”, a book written by Wolfgang Kasper. First, the author puts Kasper’s conclusions into a wider context of Australia’s migration policy. A similar treatment is applied to Klaus’s proposals to deal with problems of migration in the Czech Republic. The author believes that a debate about migration can be used within the internal political competition in the Czech Republic as well as in Australia.
