Educational programs for refugees
This report examines educational programs organized by the government as well as NGOs for asylum applicants in the Czech Republic. It also presents statistics in the form of graphs and tables. The report characterizes the specifics of providing education to four different groups of asylum applicants. The authors relate these specifics to the character of migratory processes in the Czech Republic (transit country – fluctuation of school children, etc.) and to teaching of Czech as a foreign language. The report ends with general and specific recommendations.
