The author discusses four economic indicators that have an impact on international migration: per capita GDP, unemployment rate, quality of education and presence of migrants in the target country. The article explains the relation between the individual indicators and migration and ends with a discussion of the complexity of motives behind migration, with economic factors playing an important, but not the only role.
