The author compares forms of migration from Russia and Ukraine and the process of integration of immigrant groups in the Czech Republic based on researches from 1999. The comparison uses available statistical data and in particular the results of these researches. The author contrasts key factors of migration, for example the motivation of both groups for migration, as well as the degree and quality of their integration in the Czech Republic, including integration on the job market. The author then identifies key similarities and differences in the behavior of both groups of migrants.
