CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS: INTERCULTURAL MEDIA PROJECTS

The Multicultural Center Prague (MKC Prague) is currently collecting information on innovative media projects that target migrants and their communities. These information will be presented on the new "Interculture Map" website, which our organisation is going to publish in co-operation with our international project partners. Since our own knowledge of truly innovative projects is limited, we would welcome to co-operate with people who know about any such media projects within the European Union.

One possibility for co-operation is that you would become author of a case study. We are able to pay authors some fee (aprox. € 100 / 3000 CZK) and offer our support with editing the study. Check below for requirements. In case that you won´t have the time to write a case study yourself, we would still welcome if you could point out a project you know. We might in this case conduct an interview with you or some of the project representatives.

Requirements for Authors of Case Studies:

At the core of the new Interculture Map website will be an inventory of case studies, which presents and assesses projects that we consider to contain new and innovative elements. The project´s innovativeness does not necesarily need to concern its methodology but also other aspects such as the theme, relation to social context, or target group. The case study needs to follow a fixed structure (available upon request). This structure will allow to put the content into the new website´s data mask. The average scope of a case study is 5 - 7 pages, since our budget will not allow to finance in-depth analyses of projects (we welcome, however, summaries of previously made studies).
