Strengthening Trans/national Cooperation among Labour Standards Enforcement Agencies in Europe: Challenges and Opportunities

Strengthening Trans/national Cooperation among Labour Standards Enforcement Agencies in Europe: Challenges and Opportunities

We are delighted to invite you to the conference “Strengthening Trans/national Cooperation among Labour Standards Enforcement Agencies in Europe: Challenges and Opportunities” hosted under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic in Prague on 24 - 25 November 2017.

The conference will bring together representatives of labour inspection, public administration, International Labour Organization, trade unions, and non-governmental organisations to explore and discuss challenges and opportunities to strengthen labour standards enforcement for more effective protection and equal treatment of posted and migrant workers in Europe. Through different stakeholder perspectives and expert views on the systems of labour inspection in relation to posting and labour migration, we will seek to identify solutions for enhancing administrative cooperation and information sharing at both national and transnational level.

The conference is organised as part of the PROMO project (Protecting Mobility through Improving Labour Rights Enforcement in Europe) and STRONGLAB project (Towards stronger transnational labour inspection cooperation). Its conclusions will be taken forward to shape the further project work, and will inform future policy and research debates.

Please note, the working languages of the conference will be Czech, English and Ukrainian.

Conference admission is free of charge and we very much hope that you are interested to participate. For registration to the conference, please fill in and submit the online form until 3 November 2017.

If you have any other questions, please, feel free to write at justyna.janowska@mkc.cz. We very much look forward seeing you this November in Prague!
