Migrants, Media and Society

We would like to invite you to a two-day International Conference 'Migrants, Media and Society' organized by the Multicultural Centre Prague on 4th - 5th December 2012. The program of the Conference is divided into two thematic circles which both focus on the media as a tool for supporting the process of migrants' integration and for promoting social cohesion in multicultural neighbourhoods. The Conference is being organized as part of the Media4Me and Media4us projects, which are being executed thanks to the financial support provided by the European Integration Fund, the EU Fundamental Rights and Citizenship Programme and the US Embassy in Prague. By organizing the Conference, the Multicultural Centre Prague intends to contribute to the ongoing activities regarding migrants' integration and development of more positive relationships between the minorities living in the Czech Republic and the Czech society.
